Chester race-goers glam up for Ladies Day as punters dodges shower to soak up the sunshine

THE fashion stakes are high at Chester Races today as Ladies Day gets underway - with revellers competing for the best-dressed crown.

Stylish women are bringing a dose of glamour to proceedings at the course which welcomed 15,000 punters yesterday.

There were plenty of fascinators and elaborate headwear on display too as eager punters rolled up for a day of boozing and betting.
