Meghan Markle reveals Prince Archie, four, was devastated when she didnt buy him an 8,000 camer

MEGHAN Markle has revealed that little Archie has developed a new hobby - but he wasn’t very impressed when she bought him a present to encourage him.

The Duchess of Sussex, 42, shared how her pal Misan Harriman, who is a filmmaker, had been teaching her four-year-old son about photography.

The royal spoke to Misan and actor David Oyelowo in a post-screening chat for their short film, The After, and gave some sweet details about Prince Archie.

Meghan gushed about Misan inspiring her son, saying: "Inspiration runs deep.

“Our four-and-a-half-year-old son – he would say 'I'm not four, I'm four and a half' – Misan was showing him how to do photography the last time he was with us.”

The duchess shared how she had kindly bought Archie a camera to encourage his passion, but it hadn’t gone down well.

She explained: "He said 'But it's not a Leica like Misan's?'

"[I was like] You are not getting a Leica, not even for Christmas.

"So thank you for the inspiration across the board!"

Meghan and Prince Harry typically keep their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, out of the public eye.

However, they do occasionally give sweet details about their family life in Santa Barbara, where they moved to after stepping down as senior working royals.

Speaking to athletes at the Invictus Games, which he founded for wounded soldiers, Harry said what would make him proud of young Archie.

The Duke told the crowd: "When I talk to my son Archie about what he wants to be when he grows up, some days it’s an astronaut, other days it’s a pilot.

"But what I remind him is no matter what you want to be when you grow up, it’s your character that matters most.”

Prince Harry has also said his son has inherited his “cheeky” side and likes to run into Zoom calls when he is working.

In his Spare memoir, he also shared how Archie accidentally smashed a Christmas ornament of the late Queen Elizabeth II that was on their tree.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry said at the WellChild Awards that daughter Lili is "very chilled."

"We've been lucky so far," he added. "She's very chilled and seems happy to just sit there while Archie is running around like crazy."

Prince Harry won't be spending Christmas with Charles or William, it's believed after explosive claims were revealed in Omid Scobie's Endgame.

Instead, Charles will reportedly spend the day at Sandringham with the other royals - along with Queen Camilla's children and grandchildren.
