Papoose and Remy Ma, who have both appeared on the reality series ‘Love & Hip Hop: New York’ married in 2016. The couple were planning on getting married in 2008 but she was forced to go to prison first. They were going to get married at the time she was incarcerated but after Papoose was caught trying to smuggle a key into the prison while visiting her, he was banned from the prison for six months so the wedding was called off. 

Papoose already had three children at the time of his marraige to Remy so she therefore became the stepmother of them. They had their first child together, Reminisce Mackenzie in Dec. 2018. Their romance has been an inspiration to many of their fans since Papoose waited for Remy to get out of jail to be with her.
