Sammi Sweetheart: Engaged to Christian Biscardi!

Sammi Sweetheart has officially found her sweetheart.

For life.

The veteran Jersey Shore star, who did not return for the show’s Las Vegas-based revival, confirmed on Instagram today that she’s accepted the proposal from Christian Biscardi.

Indeed, Sweetheart is engaged!

“I’m completely overwhelmed with happiness,” the 31-year old (whose real name is Samantha Giancola) wrote alongside a photo of her now-fiancé down on one knee, adding:

“Yesterday was the best day of my life! I get to marry my other half, best friend and soulmate. I look forward to spending the rest of my life with you @_biscardi I love you!!"

She went ahead and also added the hashtags:

#Fiance #MrsBiscardi #Stillcryingtearsofhappiness.

Giancola was the only original Jersey Shore cast member to turn down the revival, which has earned monster ratings for MTV.

She eventually explained on Instagram that she skipped out on the opportunity in order to focus on her “businesses and relationships.”

However, many loyal followers of the series couldn’t help but think she did so because she didn’t want to spend any more time with ex-boyfriend Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

(Sammi went public with Biscardi in April of 2017, about a year before Jersey Shore: Family Vacation premiered on the aforementioned cable network.)

Ortiz-Magro and Giancola dated off and on for about three years, from 2009 through 2012.

The couple’s VERY tumultuous relationship was widely chronicled on the reality series, with their troubles following them from Miami to Italy and then back to the Jersey Shore throughout six painful and also entertaining seasons.

After the initial run of Jersey Shore went off the air, Sammi and Ronnie even gave it another shot.

Could they make it work away from the cameras for a change?

The answer ended up being a resounding no after Ronnie, once again, cheated on his girlfriend… who he had actually moved in with after the program concluded.

Explained Ronnie to his friends on the first episode of the revival:

“I got cold feet. I wanted to do the right thing, but there was a part of me that was like, ‘I’m not going to do the right thing.’

"So I didn’t do it. I ended up cheating, she found out. I blew it. It’s over.”

Ortiz-Magro has since moved on as well. He and semi-insane girlfriend Jen Harley welcomed daughter Ariana Skye in April of 2018.

And, based on what we know of their relationship, it’s safe to say Sammi dodged a gigantic bullet here.
